Special Opioid Prevention Training for Casa Grande area employers

casa grande alliance Opioids Upcoming events

Prescription and illegal opioids like heroin and fentanyl are addictive and can be deadly. More than two people die every day from opioid overdoses in Arizona. Due to an alarming increase in opioid deaths in 2016, our Governor declared a state of emergency, which set in motion substantial action to prevent opioid addiction and reduce opioid overdoses in Arizona. While the official emergency has ended, the fight to save lives and turn the tide on the opioid epidemic continues.

Join Casa Grande Alliance (CGA) for an afternoon of training on Friday, August 23, 2019, from 2 to 4 pm, to learn more about the Opioid Crisis and how Casa Grande area employers can play an important role in being a part of Arizona’s response.
