International Overdose Awareness Day is a global event held August 31 each year. It is dedicated to remembrance, awareness, education and actions that will help eliminate overdose deaths. Activities throughout August and on the 31st of the month can raise awareness, memorialize a lost loved one, inspire change and save lives.
Find out what you can do to honor those lost to drug overdoses on the International Overdose Awareness Day page, and learn what NSC is doing to honor the day. Download a flyer to share with others in your organization, network or neighborhood.
